Another clash between Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters in Borno leaves 21 terrorists dead

He claims that after defeating ISWAP, the Boko Haram group murdered 18 of them and captured three of their vehicles while other terrorists pursued them on motorbikes and two additional trucks.

According to reports, a battle between Boko Haram militants and terrorists from the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) division resulted in the deaths of around 21 insurgents.

Zagazola Makama, a counter-insurgency specialist, revealed this in a string of tweets on Friday.
Since both factions split apart over leadership concerns, the competing gangs have begun targeting localities in the North-East.

Since then, there have been skirmishes between the factions, and Abubakar Shekau, the commander of Boko Haram, is believed to have died in one of these fights in 2021.

According to Makama, ISWAP terrorists assaulted Boko Haram’s proclaimed Caliphate in Gazuwa village on June 30 while riding motorbikes and five guntrucks.

Near the Bama Local Government Area of the State, the caliphate previously known as Gabchari, Mantari, and Mallum Masari is situated.

The counter-insurgency specialist continued by saying that the strike set up a bloody gunfight between the terrorist organizations that lasted for almost three hours.

He claims that after defeating ISWAP, the Boko Haram group murdered 18 of them and captured three of their vehicles while other terrorists pursued them on motorbikes and two additional trucks.

According to Makama, the coordinated onslaught also resulted in the deaths of three more Boko Haram militants and many injuries to many more.
