For the academic year 2022–2023, the University of Fraser Valley is accepting scholarship applications for its International Emergency Fund Scholarship. This scholarship will provide recipients with financial support to continue their education in Canada.

All students from other countries who are enrolled in degree programs at the University of Fraser Valley are eligible to receive this one-of-a-kind grant. The candidates who are selected will each get up to $36,000 to go toward their education costs, as well as a stipend to help them relocate. Candidates must originate from a region that has been adversely affected by a national emergency or catastrophe in order to be considered for this award.

All applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for the University of Fraser Valley International Emergency Fund Scholarship – Canada:

• The candidates must have experienced a local or national crisis or tragedy.
• The candidates must be qualified to participate in a UFV program of study available to overseas students and fulfill the admissions standards.

Application Procedure

The following procedure remains the only viable route to apply rightfully:

• Through its application portal, candidates can apply for admission to UFV. To apply for the opportunity, interested candidates should send an email to international@ufv.ca with the subject “IEF Scholarship” in the heading.
• Needed Papers: Students must provide a written expression of interest in a program of study at UFV, as well as a brief synopsis of their academic background and present circumstances.
• The candidates must fulfill the university’s entrance standards in order to be considered.
• Students must provide one of the English language competency documents that the institution requires.
